switching into viterbi from outside of viterbi is a little harder. You need to do "pre-engineering" which has certain class requirements. You need to get a certain gpa in the pre-engineering classes before ur eligible to switch into viterbi

Heyo, quick question for the SCA folks! So I'm a junior in high school and USC, specifically screenwriting, is my top choice program to apply to! However; I know this program is super super competitive. My school does absolutely zero creative nor script writing, so I've had to seek out any chances to write in-between regular coursework and a plethora of other EC's. This has led to me not developing a super robust writing portfolio, and not doing spectacular in any national contests—bar the VSA program. Out of curiosity, how much weight do national awards hold in SCA applications? What about aspects of the application that don't directly relate to my prospective major? Finally, would it benefit my application to be applying from a school with zero arts focused courses, programs, or awards compared to one that intrinsically has these opportunities?

But if you take AP Music, you won't get a credit in a comparative music course

The slight exception is for the GE courses, with which a certain list of like 10 AP can give credit for a GE if you get a 4 or 5
