you would get a mix i believe they recalculate your need based aid somewhat based on how much tuition is like after your merit aid

they do somewhat stack (ie you will get more than just a certain cap of need based aid that is either met in need grant form or merit scholarship) but it is not like 1 + 1 i believe

that’s unlucky i’m sorry to hear that! we do offer a lot of first year scholarship but for students who are here they have the ability to apply for smaller scholarships that stack which are smaller awards of like 1-5k

but i would argue it is no different from living in any big city

• it is a private school and they are aware of the area they are in and DPS tends to be like active p much everywhere

at least as a freshman because i live on campus and like fryft to most places (we get free lyft within like a few blocks outside of campus between 6pm and 2am)

i have never felt unsafe and tbh i do my share of shady shit like going off campus late at night and stuff

Most stellar cs applicants who I’ve talked generally matriculate elsewhere like stanford ucb or mit.
