Basically my reasoning comes down to I’m trying to leave Los Angeles

I would prefer to not go to university within a hundred miles of here

Berkeley fulfills that requirement and I also liked the school when I visited

More so than UCLA

UCLA and USC are both good schools

But my aim was to leave Los Angeles

So I skipped on applying to USC and only put UCLA down for the hell of it
