Super rigorous. Known for being very competitive. My family friend is a doctor and went to Berkeley for premed. She hated it. She got into every UC and she wished she went to Davis instead. This was yrs ago tho. Ik ucb is especially rigorous for premed but I think other degrees shouldnt be as competitive. My family friend is a successful doctor tho now.
