So I talked to someone at ucla and she said the major I chose is absolutely horrible for premed and strongly advised I switch (she’s in that major and she said everyone is miserable, there’s grade deflation, etc) but the other bio majors are very great and not super hard! She said premed at ucla is great, everyone there is super supportive, welcoming, collaborative, and it’s a great student environment/culture and highly recommends it. She also said it’s super super easy to get opportunities and she’s been working in the same research lab for 3 years and there’s tons of clubs/communities for every form of pre health! Overall, feeling very good at ucla, just going to switch my major
