biggest thing for them is just being likeable and genuine though i think

and put in a lot of effort for you technical because even if you bomb that technical it’ll be clear you put in the time to learning

also there’s a ton of cool clubs that arebt so competetive

like daily pennsylvanian takes most applicants for most divisions

and its super cool, its also like a proper business (not school affiliated anymore) that makes 1 mil+ in revenue annually which is such a cool opportunity to be involved in as a ugrad

most clubs do two rounds of interviews, a behavioral (which is fully just a vibe check), and a technical, where you’ll have to do smth related to the club

for example for the cs club i’m in our technical was debugging a web application, and for the consulting club it was creating and presenting a 1 slide presentation on a case they gave us beforehand

to get into the club you have to do very well on the vibe check and also do well on the technical, though id say in most cases vibe check is definiteky weighed higher
