the first option is indicate a major which fits my resume pretty well but may be more competitive
the second option a major that half fits my resume. it's interdisciplinary so the cs half fits my resume well and then the reason i wanted to do the other major was because of personal reasons (i think it's rather compelling, but i don't have ec proof of demonstrated interest or anything, but i would write good reasoning in the application), if that all makes sense
