No. Interviews rely largely upon availbility of alumni volunteer in your area. So if you live in a big city like, New York, there is a good chance you have an alumni near you probably a plethora of them. If you live in the middle-of-nowhere you may not have any alumni in your area and the alumni who do virtuals probably couldn't get to you after doing all of their regular ones. So likely there just wasn't enough time/enough volunteers to get one to him.

I think ima switch out a letter of rec from one of my college application advisors for an e&t director / the leader of the intern program at my SE internship, i hope letters of rec really mean a lot at MIT cuz i feel like that letter of rec is gonna go crazy

cuz he will be able to talk about my teamwork with my full-time team, personality, professionalism, social interactions with other interns, how ive gotten experience in a large corporate environment, etc and i feel like that would contribute towards what the AOs look for in an applicant

I’m not aware of the inner workings, so if an interviewer has scheduled you for beyond the 14th great.

The way my interviewer described it, an interview can be attached to an application at ANY TIME and it will be evaluated again with the interview. It’s just that they are due the 14th bc the AOs don’t want to have to go back.

i was in band for the first year of high school and i was pretty decent and got some awards so i added that to my app but i quit cuz i hated marching band

purdue is my in-state safety

purdue is a really solid safety, much better than my options

the engineering program at university of arkansas, OU, and tulsa are pretty garbage

at least they would pay me to go there lol but i would rather not
