im in the student newspaper and that's pretty fun

overall a pretty excellent school, on paper it's big but it feels pretty small

it's fine - as a gay student i experienced one incident of blatant homophobia, but that's fraternity people for you. you can interact with the community as much as you'd like but even if you don't (which i haven't, not for any particular reason but just because i've been really busy) you will meet a lot of queer people.

I've heard the resources are pretty good. The people at Thurston (the building with a lot of the resources/offices for support of minority students) are really kind and passionate about those they support. I can speak to this anecdotally, I regularly meet with an administrator who facilitates support for Black students and she has been really supportive of me, even connecting me with people in the industry I want to work in.
