I doubt it. Think about it. Dartmouth is well funded. They have plenty of money and likely they have a good relationship with whatever Airline you're going on. Now there is the kind of unfortunate (you're going to feel guilty) that there is no waitlist for fly-ins and if someone drops they can't give it to someone else this late so its kind of you took someones opportunity. Though if you do not show up, or say you cannot go, they know that if you applied to a fly in you are likely from a low-income background (sorry if you're not) or you simply cannot afford to go. They aren't going to charge a low-income family for a plane ticket just because something else came up or their publicity would be terrible
