in RD polls, the MIT megathread had 18 students say they were accepted. The internet tells us that MIT seems to be admitting about 600 people in RD each year, with last year them admitting 572 and 640 the year before that. So, for MIT's class, 18 / 600 = 0.03 of the acceptees responded to the A2C poll.

Here's the big assumption that's definitely wrong, but still made so that we can get some sort of an idea of the status of CMU apps: I assumed that the same proportion (0.03) of CMU acceptees responded to the CMU poll. 45 said they accepted, so 45 / 0.03 = 1500 accepted so far in RD

I think that they've probably admitted even less than that though. It's well known that the average A2C member is more competitive than the average high schooler. Since MIT has a lower overall acceptance rate than CMU, it's probably less than 3% of all CMU acceptees that have responded to this poll
