guys i think ur a bit over enthustatic about BU. My sister went there and theres a lot of grade deflation so alot of the kids there are pretty depressed. Its not even worth cuz it doesnt carry the same weight in getting a job as schools like cornell which has simialr grade deflation. I doubt the job prosepcts are very different from umass amherst. That being said if you have particualr reasons for liking the school, that makes sense. but if its just for superficial reasons id think about it more

Depends on your major too. Grade deflation here mostly affects stem majors and even then to varying degrees depending on the classes

Definitely expect grade deflation in some of the life + physical sciences like chemistry, absolutely notorious here (but it's a weedout for chem 101)
