  • Location/Region: Suburbs or City, near Maryland DMV area.

  • Major: CS or physics

  • GPA/Test Scores: GPA: UW: 3.8 W: 4.7

  • Curriculum: Not a worry

  • Size: not sure if this matters

  • Costs: Only 10k from grandparents, no money otherwise from parents for college. Preferably college that gives good aid to students that aren't poor.

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: UMD, UVA, UMBC

I assume by the lack of a test scores you're going test optional?

Here are some suggestions (I believe these all give merit aid/scholarships):
Reaches: Johns Hopkins, Washington and Lee
Targets: William & Mary, URichmond, Howard University (historically black)
Safeties: Virginia Tech, James Madison, American University

Georgetown is a good option but does not offer merit aid. UMD, UVA, and UMBC are all great as well.

I hear UNC is quite similar to UVA, idk abt their aid situation for OOS students tho
