Location/Region: City/Rural/Suburb? What country? Preferably on the coasts, rural is fine.

Major: English/History/Polisci

GPA/Test Scores: 3.94/4.0 1540 SAT

Size: I like smaller schools but that doesn't matter that much for safety/targets.

Costs: Very lucky to not have to worry abt cost.

Hobart William Smith college(s) is right on the lake, small, 68% acceptance rate, and might give you some good merit aid. I have it on my list, as well as Williams, Middlebury, and Brown, so I have a feeling we are looking for similar things. My other safeties/likelies are St. Lawrence, Sarah Lawrence, Connecticut College, and Muhlenberg College. They aren’t on the coast, but you might like them anyway. Ik you have a lot of reaches, but Bowdoin College is very similar to Williams and Middlebury and is located near the coast, with a great coastal studies center maintained by the college. Hope this helps! Good luck with your search πŸ™‚ Edit: St. Lawrence is very rural btw (right near Canada), the others not so much. No big cities though.
