I say go to SJSU

The location is killer for what you wanna do, and saving money and a 4+1 are major pluses

And idt that prestige matters, especially for CS

Prestige is a goofy construct that means absolutely nothing. Go where your heart leads you. The only way prestige would factor in is there were better opportunities after college, but clearly doesn’t seem to be the case when comparing these two. Go SJSU

Agreed, especially for tech

#

Employers don't care about rankings or prestige, just about your profile and your skill and your personal qualities

#

Even then, SJSU's really liked by tech companies and a lot of people find jobs from there

the majors shit confuses me tbh

data science major is kinda ass

#

because compsci majors get priority over data science majors for those jobs

#

and at SJSU, u could easily get a job at FAANG

#

so maybe sjsu
