Location/Region:
High Point, North Carolina. I would prefer a college on the East Coast, and maybe select colleges in the Midwest.
Major:
Political Science, History, any major that would help me in law school because that is the ultimate goal.
GPA: 4.15 UW 3.8 W, Haven't taken the SAT and I won't be adding my ACT scores on my applications.
Curriculum: The difficulty of the class doesn't matter.
Size: I don't mind going to a large university because it is probably more well-known, but a small university would be fine as well.
Costs: I am probably eligible for 0 financial aid, so unless I get scholarships, the max cost I could afford is maybe 50k a year.
Schools:
Wake Forest Target
UNC Target
Duke Reach
Georgetown Reach
UT Austin Reach
UMich Ann Arbor Reach
Additional: I had a very poor freshman year, was fully virtual and ended up with a low GPA. I have shown signs of massive improvements since then, and have consistently taken rigorous classes (And done well in them), and have numerous ECs to my name. I am a legal immigrant that has not obtained permanent residency yet, so in order to become a lawyer that can be sponsored by a firm to be able to continue working here legally, I need to go to an accredited law school in order to maximize my chances of being hired over another graduate. I'm looking for good schools to go to for my undergrad which may have a better law program, or just a prestigious school overall in order to boost my chances of getting into a good law school.
