  • can apply for full ride scholarship as first year (also slim chance of getting it)
  • research triangle area
  • diverse
  • cheaper, ~55k (I’m not in state)
  • good social life (basketball again)
  • weather

Cons-

  • not near a city
  • large class sizes, larger in general
  • further from home

Emory
Pros

  • half tuition scholarship, would cost ~50k
  • near city
  • diverse
  • near cdc

Cons

  • less social/ no sports
  • further from home
  • worse French/ language department
  • I’ve never visited (have visited the others)

Seems like unc Chapel Hill might be the better match given you also got into honors and accelerated research
