Similarities: student population, prestige

Brown
Brown Pros:

• like the weather more
• city gal
• open curriculum awesome because im interested in everything
• atmosphere seems super laidback :)
• not surrounded by NERDS ! in the engineering dept
• pretty campus

Brown Cons:

• engineering program is not the best
• is everyone going to be weird ??
• more expensive if i fail to negotiate aid down

Duke
Duke Pros:

• insane bme program omg!
• cheaper if brown aid cant be negotiated down
• maybe more normal people ? LOL
• campus is gorgeous

Duke Cons:

• ive always wanted to go to college in a city and its kinda far from everything
• im not a basketball girly

i like colder weather and city which is why brown neat, open curriculum just a plus. however i feel like bme at duke is too crazy to pass up. i can only afford to visit one and im visiting brown on their admitted student day :p

some things that would help me make my decision is knowing where i would have the best research opportunities or internship opportunities. i am also looking for a good faculty experience which i suppose i can expect from both
