Location: Im in Florida rn but i dont care where i end up

Major: thinking about CS/Data science or Econ/Finance or even maybe dual degree both

GPA/Test Scores: i think somewhere between 3.8 and 3.85 UW gpa. Idk class rank and in a somewhat competitive school relative to the area
Got a 30 act probably gonna retake it hoping for 32+
Took APCSP in 8th grade failed test, taking AP Micro/Macro/Stat this year
For senior year taking DE enc1101/1102 AP Chem/Calc AB/Comp Sci A/Gov
Totaling 8 AP's and a DE class

Curriculum: I guess work hard play hard. I want to be challenged but also have enough time for myself

Size: I dont really mind LAC or Universities

Costs: No aid needed, but obviously would like scholarships

Schools you're currently looking at (if any):

UF, USF, FSU, UCF, UMiami cause of bright futures (100% tuition free)
so probably going to go to one of those schools cause of the nice scholarship but looking for more options

Reaches: GTech, NYU(a parent went for grad school idk if counted as legacy), UCLA, probably gonna also shotgun ivies/public ivies cause why not

Additional: Diverse student body

EC: Piano for 8ish years, Started Violin this year, in a leadership and service club, volunteering at Goodwill every thursday/saturday, learning mandarin and going on a 3 week study abroad over the summer also maybe a full study abroad gap year if i like the summer trial.

My ECs kinda suck like i barely have anything since i was super depressed and burnt out for 2 and a half years and just now getting back into things.

Thanks

Word of warning: while bright futures does help pay for private college tuition so long as the private college is in Florida, it won’t cover it completely

#

So like UMiami def wouldn’t be covered (that’s honestly why I didn’t apply lol). If you’re fine with that, you’re chilling

#

Reaches would be UWash, UMich, UVA, and some of the more prestigious UCs if you’re into that kind of thing

#

And then also consider like the Purdue type colleges

But there are def private unis that are better and cost the same as uMiami

#

And imo you are qualified for a lot of them

Colgate university is a rlly good school. It’s somewhere from target to reach

If you go TO, you might be able to crack schools like NYU, USC, NEU, etc.
