Location/Region: either city or suburban is fine! as for regions, north east (i'm from mass) and mid atlantic are ideal, but i'm fine with great lakes too (and maybe california as well)
Major: economics or international relations
GPA/Test Scores (optional): 4.2 gpa (upward trend tho; i had a 3.95 freshman yr, 4.1 sophmore, and so far during junior year i have a 4.6), projected 6 APs, haven't taken sat yet but a safe guess is in the 1400s (or maybe above if i can grind out that math section)
Curriculum: difficulty isn't an issue, but a more hands on approach is nice
Size: medium..? i'm not too picky tho
Costs: doesn't matter/fully paid
Schools you're currently looking at (if any): columbia 😍 (yea i'm delusional), boston college, villanova, uva, usc, lehigh, northwestern, umich, syracuse, cornell
Additional: ideally i'd love a school that's a mix of prestigious whilst also having a good social life (i'm super extroverted)
#need more schools!!! (repost from months ago)

northeastern ?
umass amherst
Cal poly SLO has a super hands on approach “learn by doing” and is pretty prestigious with a good social scene as well
NYU - #11 in economics..
my sister went there and for some reason i absolutely despise it 😭 i need a similar safety/target type school but i don't wanna do any umasses. any other ideas?
that came off harsh but i didn't mean it to lmfao
nyu is amazing but idk how i feel about the lack of a genuine college campus feel yk
i might still apply tho
i see and i totally get that. it’s close to me location wise as well as i’m also from mass. i think uconn might be a little bigger but is kinda similar, u maryland is also pretty similar, maybe even uri, campus is slightly smaller but it’s also close
i think it cost isn’t an issue then def apply to NYU, it’s a great school but yea as u said no campus can be sucky
plus u can get the columbia feel of nyc kinda ?
thanks!!
i toured uconn awhile ago and didn't love it but hey it's better than umass
i think my stigma against umass also j stems from the fact it's literally where half my high school goes lmfao
