so a close friend of mine is still looking to apply to colleges. they got a couple (5) applications in already, but i know they're nervous about them, so i'm trying to find some good safeties and targets for mechanical engineering. they don't have test scores, they go to a US school, good grades + gpa, w strong ecs around work experience and some leadership positions.

anybody know any schools that are still open to apply to for fall 2023? or schools that will do spring admit for spring 2024?
