Location/Region: Preferably cities or suburbs - I have relatives in california but idek if any unis in cali are even an option - but preferably california if possible

Major: applying for history but will be switching to econ/political science if possible

GPA/Test Scores (optional): In my country we dont have GPA, havent taken SAT yet - but academics pretty strong i think

Curriculum: Any

Size: Any

Costs: Need a full ride or close to it ๐Ÿ’€

Schools you're currently looking at (if any): Been looking at all the schools that can provide enoguh aid for internationals, but the list is slim aside from most of the ivies, duke, and some more ๐Ÿ’€

Additional: I havent looked into LACs at all, are these worth considering??

Also I prefer weather to be too cold over too hot

You need a full ride, and you're not applying to engineering/cs, I'd say LACs are absolutely worth it

Second LACs

#

how are your ECs

#

Most tend to be need-aware

#

except like Bowdoin

yea def look into LACs. 5 college consortium is great and the ones in the northeast, though they aren't in cali, definitely have cooler weather

u won't find say, MIT or CMU level cs at a LAC but, depending on the college, a lot of them still have very strong eng and cs programs

Swarthmore eng is nice but only gives out a general engineering degree. I've heard good things about WIlliams/Swarthmore CS tho

Many of them may all have 3-2 programs with bigger ENGS schools too

#

like Dartmouth has a ton of students from New England LACs coming to campus

#

well, not tons, but some
