I want to pursue a grad degree at a top college (UPenn, Chicago, Stanford), so I want to go cheap for undergrad. Are there any good yet really cheap colleges? Also does anybody know of any colleges with really nice campuses that have features similar to those of Stony Brook, UPenn, Flagler, or UChicago?

I am instate. My parents want me to go to CUNY for undergrad but on the nice campus side of things i'm also considering Syracuse, Flagler, and Stony Brook. I am choosing not so good undergrad ones so I know I can succeed there and get a 4.0, and also because I want to pursue a grad level degree from a top university and that is enough stress as it is.
My situation is VERY hard to explain. I am also aiming for lower schools because due to family issues last year my GPA is very low. Now I am a sophomore trying to get it back up but its still hard. I have amazing grades now, but my overall gpa is low and no good college will take me.

So applying to stony my gpa will be a whopping 3.4 (IK ITS LOW) but my indavidual grades will be good. To clarify, my freshman year gpa was 2.0 due to major family problems. My grades now are good but its really hard to get a gpa much higher after that...
I have great extra curriculars though
and i will have a great essay
and good recs
for example, my non profit is almost started and I am the student gov president next year
