Location/Region: i prefer a city, i love NYC and overall i don’t like the suburbs
Major: biology premed (idk if i want to apply for 6-8 year program to bypass MCAT)
GPA/Test Scores (optional): 3.9 UW 4.4 W, 1500 SAT (first try w out studying, aiming for 1550+, taking at least one more time)
Curriculum: i would like to be challenged. i know what i am capable of and i don’t want to get too comfortable, my brain likes to be at work.
Size: i love large populations and large area. i love cities and urban areas, so class and school size would generally be larger
Costs: honestly, i haven’t sat w my parents and discussed yet, however pretend we’re not taking this into account
Schools you're currently looking at (if any): i have reaches: columbia, brown, tulane, ucla, nyu, umich, berkeley, uci, UT (obviously not applying to all but trying to narrow things down and find targets/safties
Additional: honestly as i’ve previously stated, i love cities and urban life. i prefer a bigger school as opposed to a smaller one. a d1 football program isn’t a need, however, i think it would be cool to attend games. i don’t care too much about greek life, but i want a good party atmosphere. i’m also brown, so i don’t want to go to a high majority white school, i want diversity, south asian clubs etc, also i do want a good amount of brown people and stuff around. i love the gym so preferably nice gyms but again that’s an extra not a need !!

thank you !

DC is a relatively big city with schools like American University & GW that are diverse with some great parties (or so I've heard)

I like tufts too, they get a bad wrap on us news because of the weird way us news ranks them (its not just quality of the programs lmao) but tufts has a pretty good premed program and has a vibe like brown

#

Also Swarthmore if ur into LACs but the vibe is much different and its a very small school

Drexel is so good

#

They have programs where you can get a lot of work experience in undergrad in almost any field you want

#

I recommend it strongly as a safety
