they're very different things

comp engineering is closer to the hardware side of things

it's a major that's incredibly solid and current has a high demand and relatively lower supply

DS is closer to CS

it's also quite solid, but what the two deal with are slightly different

its a harder major since its lower level so be careful with what you pick

it also became pretty popular in that schools are starting to block off ece transfers

in terms of actually getting in the admittance % is usually a little higher than cs but not by much
