so it came down to uiuc vs umich, and i chose umich not only bc i loved ann arbor sm but also travel wise its so much more accessible (only 40 mins to detroit airport, 1 hr flight to ny vs a way longer drive to chicago airport and flight home)

math, physics and eecs are all said to be very difficult at umich
