I'd say go for your local flagship state school
Uconn, UMass Amherst, etc
Unless you're planning a bs/md
@gilded burrow I'd focus on minimizing debts, maximizing opportunities to explore interests beyond your premed major. You will appreciate the lower debt you have post-medical school and the time to explore other domains outside of premed track work.
That being said, schools that offer good aid and have a variety of programs are the go to. I second @split cave in your flagship is probably the best option.
