Location/Region: city/suburb
Major: Biochemistry/pre-med/biology
GPA/Test Scores: I have no idea what my gpa is as I’m studying IB right now, and our school doesn’t provide GPA. But my predicted IB grade is 43/45.
Curriculum: rigour as I love challenges. Okay, maybe not that much but I need a rigorous course in order for me to stop procrastination.
Size: small/medium sized classes
Costs: I would love to get a scholarship or merit-based aid. I mean US universities are so expensive 😭
Schools I’m currently looking at: Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Johns Hopkins, UC Berkeley, Carnegie Melon, University of Washington, U of Colorado, Texas A&M, , university of Texas Austin, ASU
Additional: weather is important to me. When it’s cloudy or raining, it makes me wanna sleep 🥲. Also I have no idea which school am I suppose to apply for ED.

Thank you so much for your time💓

I second a lot of the people's recommendations here, though! Especially since you're interested in a smaller school, I recommend checking out LACs.

#

I recommend Macalester for you as well! It's a small school located directly in a city that offers up to $100K in merit aid and meets full demonstrated financial aid.

premed intl u should probably go for the lowest cost

#

UMass amherst gives like $16k a year for their highest merit scholarship

#

grinnell, connecticut college and ithaca college offered me some pretty good merit/need based scholarships (around half cost off)
