#What LACs (or other small schools) have the strongest CS programs?

Hi, I am looking to study CS at a LAC (or other small school) to take advantage of smaller class sizes and more things that LACs offer. I know many of these schools are more theory based and I actually would prefer that. I would also like to have the opportunity to take classes in other fields such as economics and political science and would appreciate a left wing activist scene.

I just recently visited them (by recent i mean today), but maybe give a look at Bowdoin College? they’re not well known for cs but they do have a great department (according to my tour guide who is majoring in it) and a strong econ department too. I’d also say the left wing activist scene is pretty present both in Bowdoin and in the town of Brunswick lol.

Idk about theoretical CS but Williams is quite well known for math

Williams is great for CS in both industry and research (current student) and lets you take any class you want. Definitely left wing activism here too
