#Change the patch timing.

useless, because around the world, its always in a primetime of any region, they will never hit a time which fits into every region
Seriously?? So we are all on one server? There are no European servers? NA? Asia? SA? OCE?
I guess they are after all. I play a lot of mmos and none of them on European servers took breaks at such pointless hours. So it's no problem.
Its not about the server location - they sit in there office and update the server via remote, thats why all servers are offline at the mainteance time (except private servers)
I know how it works. But I still don't agree that it's a problem for the European server not to be turned off 5 times a week during the best gaming hours when the most people are playing.
There is no such stupidity in any other game.
Each region should be updated between 3-4am or 12-1pm.
As I wrote. others can do it, so it's not a problem.
The problem is that they turn off the servers 5 times a week for an hour or an hour and a half at the worst possible hours in the EU.
They can further reduce the number of patches per week. They don't have to do it every day. A patch once or twice a week would be enough. This would also sort of solve the problem....
Turning off the server at 11pm on the weekend... illogical and unheard of.
Really?? Again? 22:30 March 8 - 00:00 March 9 UTC (1.5 hour) it's friday, weekend!!!!
This seriously discourages me from playing this game. You turn off the servers every day at the best gaming hours in Europe.
Seriously. I've played many mmorpg games where there were servers all over the world and the servers were never shut down at such hopeless hours.
so patch time in NA is while most people are at work, patch time in EU is while most are asleep, and patch time in asia/oce is before people are awake. what times would work better for you?
Seriously? Do you go to bed at 10:30pm on a weekend off??? I don't know why this comment. What do I care about servers in NA and OCE? I play on EU and I don't go to bed at 10pm. Most people during the week work during the day and play in the evenings. Especially on the weekend. If I don't go anywhere, I want to play, and turning off the servers at such hopeless hours prevents that. On top of that, it's 5 times a week.
I'll say it again. In no game, absolutely no game, have I seen such frequent server shutdowns and at such hopeless times.
i assume you never played games like EVE or Albion with daily down times or patches?
you know MMOs that go down for up to an hour each day?
But in all honesty, the game as far as official is running on a global map thats connected together... If I want I can hike from the NA guilds in the SE to the EU servers in the NW of the map via transfers.
But also these downtimes do some minor blessings as well. Not only is a patch being sent out helps fix issues, but the servers going down also kick all the AFK players taking up server slots.
it might start at 2230 in western europe, but it's in the middle of the night in eastern europe
what time would you suggest a globally-accessible game goes down that works for everyone? it's one big prefecture map, after all.
like i said, this isnt my first time playing games with daily maitnance
the issue is you always hit someone's prime time with it
Agree, Shutting down servers nearly everyday for an hour plus is getting to be a pain in the neck. In addition, how about a very useful patch once a week and give timers on the servers saying game will go down in 10/5 minutes. Most people don't know when UTC time is.
