bridge building should be a part of game , like now we have these cool little islands but we cant drag cart trough the water so they will be kind of "useless" unless we can make a bridge going trough water way.

You can build with regular foundations a bridge if you want an actual bridge it wouldn't make that much sense because depending on where you want to build it will be either too long or too short

i tried building "regular" foundation bridge but the building zoning is quiet harhs when it comes to water , so it was no go. and i tried it from several angles / spots

You build one foundation, then a floor off the foundation. Then you put pillers under the floor, which turns it into a foundation for stability purposes, allowing you to build more floors. Use floors and pillars till you get accross.

I was disappointed they removed building on roads as my plan was to block access on a static bridge and charge access like a troll.

Only pillars can be build inside water, then just add ceilings on top. People have been building bridges like this for years.
