yeah, the freezes are also part of the problem but it's mostly when i'm recording / timing, in casual solves i feel like i could get sub30

do you want the recon first or the tips first

# haughty bough this recon is tilting me, but I will get it done

from that recon it appears that you:

  • don't plan cross
  • don't try to find F2L pairs without rotating/doing random filler moves first
  • do random filler moves after solving F2L pairs out of habit
  • haven't bothered learning how to properly fingertrick the most basic triggers/algs
#

methods to fix these issues:

  • properly train cross (watch some cross tips/tricks vids from Cubehead/Jperm/any applicable vid available, then use the Crystalcube/Speedcube Database cross trainers)
  • force yourself to stop moving the cube (outside of tilting if needed) until you've found a pair to solve
  • force yourself to not do random moves after solving a pair
  • watch some alg fingertrick vids if needed (cubehead/jperm/brina)
#

your F2L solutions also need some work but that can come a bit later

Try focusing on f2l and cross because that’s the main issue that is slowing down and try focusing more on f2l because if you keep pausing that could ruin the solve. Another thing is that when doing f2l you rotate a lot but you’re not making any process and that is a key factor to slowing you down. I suggest practice more f2l and cross afterwords and learn pll and oll once your can solve f2l and cross maybe sub 25-20

first learn to make a decent cross and one look with inspection. make it as fast as possible. then learn all intuitive f2l cases (speedcubedb) and stop spamming sexy moves. try limiting rotations to altleast 2-3. also maybe do slow solves to practice lookahead

dierya dk61se i know it i had it

#

the f2l is the problem

#

i dont use intuitve f2l and not even f2l

#

only 2 look oll and 2 look pll

so my uhh

my metuod

is

#

while doing the cross, you do the white face too

#

then u do the second layer

#

then 2 look oll and 2 look pll

#

easy

#

but

#

u gotta get some practice with my method

i don't mean to judge btw
but the point of intuitive F2L is learning by visual input

I would work on cross for a little too but really try to get consistency in your F2L so you can execute the solution while looking where your next pair is gonna end up. This will take practice, and it's not bad if you still take a while, but try avoiding filler moves and unnecessary cube rotations. LL is pretty decent, just practice the algs a lot, and you'll get there. I'd advise doing this till you're sub 40, low 30s, and then learn full PLL.

#

After that the next step would be Intermediate F2L.
So algs for all 42 standard cases after that full OLL.

Ge more comfortable with your algs. And learn fingertricks. Those will get you much faster, and also try to pause less
