F B2 U L2 B2 R2 D2 R2 F2 D' B2 F' L2 D B2 L2 F L' U' B'
this is average solve
i get like 18 to 23
The vid is kinda lagging so I can't really say that much
Just practice finger tricks of f2l and try timing oll and pll
Make sure at least sub 2
what do you mean with timing
Like time how long your pll take
You can be sub 15 in like 1 to 2 months if you increase your tps and do better fingertricks
How long have you been cubing
4 years
but
first year i used LBL
than i took 2 year break
and than 1 year just going all in
Dont rotate in ur cross brother…to prevent that…its actually better to predict ur cross moves using notations and not simply putting them in one by one….that way, u can finish cross faster in one smooth algorithm and at the same time lookahead to ur first pair
but how slow
But basically…drill in ur advanced f2l…not intuitive…A.D.V.A.N.C.E.D
oki
Also
Rotations
Too many…now this u can do slow solving XD
Ngl rotations are the least of ur worries after good lookahead
Just video urself one more time and time urself when u do a bunch of U moves or puase to find the next pair
After that
Just tell ur self…to pick up the speed (dont need good tps…just to a point u think ur going fast)…and then one more time this time lookahead for other pairs…furiously quick while doing the current pair.
Dats how i practise my lookahead
No boring slowsolving crap
Hey, few tips from my side. Couldn't exactly tell but your cross took about 4-5 seconds just to execute and I think you just inspected 2 pieces. You could easily shave 2-3 seconds from it with enough practice. What you can do is scramble and inspect for as long as you need to make sure you can insert all 4 pieces without looking at the cube. Do this over and over and once you are comfortable with that try to find more optimal solutions as well as make sure to find out the best side to start from, so that you have nicer fingertricks and no rotations. Again once you are comfortable with that try to lower the time you inspect so that you can fit in the 15 seconds inspection. This technique is also really useful when training to inspect cross+1 pair (currently training this)
Don't know your current OLL and PLL status, but sub 20 is easily achievable with full PLL and 2 look OLL (I average about 11.5 and still don't know full OLL (not recommended :D))
Also there was a very specific U2 finger trick on 2nd pair, which kind of removed the point of a U2 as you had to regrip back to home after it. And for third pair you can take out the corner without regripping, as you did two regrips to take it out and then 2 more to insert the pair (or a rotation). Try to build a habit of using a push U and U' (one for each hand), so that you stay in home grip for as long as possible.
Hope this is helpful, good luck!
