You can just put the time in the title or in here

hot halo
#

I think I got a front facing one

Also one question

mystic frost

You should try to avoid rotating and try to solve cross on bottom

hot halo
#

Okay

urban loom
#

do not rotate much

#

and learn better finger tricks and more efficent cross

#

and when you avrg 45 learn f2l

barren garnet
#

try keeping cross on bottom and doing finger turns instead of wrist turns

tawny basalt
#

Your cross took you like 20 seconds learn how to solve your cross efficiently, fast and without rotations

#

They should learn it but not use it until they are comfortable doing it in slow solves

hot halo
#

Learning f2l

tawny basalt
#

Learn F2L but only use it in an actual solve once your comfortable using it

#

Brody the cuber has good tutorials on it

#

And I have a vid on full F2L aswell

tawny basalt
#

It’s on YouTube

#

My channel is WebStrike Cubing @ebon grail

#

Tomorrow or the day after I’m going to begin a video talking about edge orientation and how it can help predict things such as OLL and Key hole and whether or not rotations are necessary

#

No, they are optimal except for 1 or 2 algs

#

Optimal = fewest moves

#

Each pair should be solved in under 8 moves

#

Their is only a few exceptions in the video

white token
#

Learn basic fingertricks (so no wrist turns)

tawny basalt
#

There are certain cases

#

But rhat is the main rule

#

11 move R U Gens can be better in my opinion

#

Almost every case should be solved in under 8 moves except for a few certain cases

#

The way to learn F2L is not algorithmicalg but to use the algs to understand how you can solve different pairs

#

So a mix of intuitiveness and algorithmic is the best way to learn F2L

#

Ok

timid prairie
#

just keep practising, you'll get the hang of it eventually.. takes a little bit to get used to :)

Hi

Iam not a beginner but i need some help at F2L!

#

Can someone give me a advice?

timid prairie
heavy kestrel
#

Ok,thanks I ask it in there.

tawny basalt
#

You do get slower when you learn F2L I started learning F2L at 40 and started averaging like 55-60 but it’s 100% worth it

tawny basalt
#

Keep learning F2L, once you average about 30 start learning full PLL and at sub 25 begin learn a majority of OLL and at sub 20 finish OLL

#

That’s what I did, I actually started full PLL at sub 40 but didn’t grind it until sub 30

#

I wouldn’t reccomend full PLL until sub 30-35

distant tendon
#

I'm sub 35 and use 2look pll with a few 1look algs (like t perm, na perm, aa and ab perm)

sage violet
#

learn f2l first then beginner oll and pll

#

for a beginner i think it would be better if you watch a faster beginner method on Jperms video

#

when i finished learning beginner method i try to learn a faster version of a beginner method and its worth it

#

very simple

#

also j perm did say you need to learn colour nutreul to get fast

#

i only did yellow and white

tawdry vault
#

Try beginner F2l oll pll easier

# hot halo Here a front facing one I did a while ago

-Solve cross on bottom
-Solve cross more efficiently (try not to solve each cross edge one by one)
-STOP doing Dw moves (really unnecessary)
-Learn intuitive F2L
-For last layer its better to do U move than rotate
-Try to avoid rotations in general
-Most important of all learn CFOP! (Or at least begginer cfop)

This has to be so old that the guy in question is better than he was back in this post

For some reason it appeared on the forum
