REAL metalheads, Can you please help me discover some new stuff? I would like something in Drop D or 7-string that is not thrash or a fast blast beat, and I want the vocals to be rough, but not monotonous. Meaning not grunting in the same key, word after word. I grew up on old old Metallica at the age of 6. As I got older, my taste got heavier and heavier. I like stuff such as Old Man's Child, Hypocrisy, At the Gates, Death, Kreator and recently started to like some stuff by Frozen Soul🤘 I am hoping to hear something like Jungle Rot, but with vocal keys that a varied like James Hetfield if such music exists. I'm not gonna give you the hippie -------- of "How does music make you feel", anyone who teaches music and asks that question should be ------- over the head and shoved in a wheelie bin. It's worthless asking how music makes you feel until it's been made. It should make you feel only one thing; frustrated. You should feel like it wasn't good enough, and not for a lack of trying, but because this is something a true artist will always experience. Almost every artist hates their work and a good one can use that as inspiration to do better.
In other words, for a clear masochist such as yourself, the experience should be quite cathartic.

Also saw Pagliacci on Saturday night and they all did great, and I definitely enjoyed it, but there were two women behind me who wouldn't stop talking. And as we were walking in, there was some guy dressed like a fool and I was like why the hell is that dude dressed like a freaking clown to go to the opera ... oh, wait ... I get it. It's all good. I mean, if you're going to dress like a clown in public and it isn't a circus, that show would be one place where it's appropriate, I guess.
The show was excellent, they all knocked it out of the park, and the set was really excellent too, great lighting to go with the singing.
