I am migrating from jellyseerr to seerr, on unraid os.
I am following this guide https://docs.seerr.dev/migration-guide?docker-methods=docker-compose on step 4 it says that you should check the logs to see if migration took place and was successfull. Not sure what to look for, can't see any error with log level info.

When i start the web gui i come to the wizard and have to do everything manually it seems. Can I expect that the migration was successfull, and that personal data from my old jellyseerr is going to be there when syncing libraries and the other things in wizard is finished?

Read our release announcement to learn what Seerr means for Jellyseerr and Overseerr users.

No

#

That just means you mounted wrong

#

Jellyseerr -> seerr there is NO internal migration. If it throws a setup, then you mounted your config wrong

#

Without seeing your compose/unraid template + your folder structure we cant tell

to start with new config/setup, just delete the appdata\seerr , remove the seerr docker app and start again?

#

I am installing the app marked as Official

#

standard setup in unraid:
/mnt/user/appdata/jellyseerr
/mnt/user/appdata/seerr

#

followed the guide+that unraid manual install tightly

What i meant was

#

Depends on what image you migrated from

#

Because third party jellyseerr images had /config

i think i got it now fallenberg

#

As internal directory

let me check

#

yes and I know why

jolly bloom
#

So you might have an extra folder inside of /mnt/user/appdata/seerr too

cold dock
#

Yes that was exactly why. the guide said use this:
cp -a /mnt/user/appdata/jellyseerr /mnt/user/appdata/seerr
But when i checked that folder, i see that it actually was places under /mnt/user/appdata/seerr/jellyseerr

#

when I moved it up it just started right into login screen on web gui
