2026-04-06T04:32:26.247Z [error][Sonarr API]: Something went wrong while adding a series to Sonarr. {"errorMessage":"Request failed with status code 400","options":{"profileId":6,"rootFolderPath":"/data","title":"some","tvdbid":123,"seasons":[4],"seasonFolder":false,"seriesType":"standard","tags":[],"monitored":true,"searchNow":true},"response":[{"propertyName":"RootFolderPath","errorMessage":"Root folder '/data' does not exist","attemptedValue":"/data","severity":"error","errorCode":"RootFolderExistsValidator","formattedMessageArguments":[],"formattedMessagePlaceholderValues":{"path":"/data","propertyName":"Root Folder Path","propertyValue":"/data"}}]}

Hi All, this error 400 is what I get each time I make a request. I can confirm that sonarr is handling requests normally when used directly.

I have tried using the "docker safe new perms" tool, but it did not resolve my issue.

I would appreciate any help/suggestions please!!

#

Your issue is tje rootfolder /data doesnt exist on sonarr settings > media management

#

Youre trying to request and add to a root folder not defined there

#

If you want to use the root folder defined there

#

Go to settings > services on seerr

#

And edit sonarr modal

#

Press test again

#

And reselect the proper rootfolder

#

The error is coming directly from sonarr because of an improper rootfolder being selected
