Summary

I’m seeing repeated Plex Watchlist Sync attempts that fail every few minutes for the same titles and users.
While this doesn’t appear to crash anything, it results in constant retries, noisy logs, and unnecessary background work.

Observed Behavior

During scheduled jobs, the following pattern repeats roughly every 3 minutes:

  • Plex Watchlist Sync runs
  • The same media items are processed repeatedly
  • Requests fail with one of two messages:
    • "No seasons available to request"
    • "Auto-request for this media and user already exists."
  • The next sync repeats the same attempted requests again

This happens across multiple users and media items.
