Series season discrepancy

Hi all,

Not so much a technical question but I was wondering if something can be done about it.
Sometimes I watch anime and I noticed seasons aren't always seperated correctly in Overseerr, for example:
Re:Zero-Starting Life in Another World is in Overseerr 1 seasons, but in Sonarr it is correctly seperated into 3 seasons.

What this does, is that Sonarr only downloads the first season and not the other 2 or puts them on watchlist.

The same goes for Solo Leveling, in Overseerr it's one season, but it's actually 2 seasons.

Can anything be done about something like this? I added some screenshots for clarification.

Overseerr and Sonarr use two different data sources. (TMDB and TVDB).

Therefore, the cause of this is the data sources and neither overseerr nor sonarr.

I suggest you raise the problem with TMDB.

This is a very common problem with anime where different regions have different series numbering.

Regardless, requesting the entire show will get you the entire show.
