#Overseerr suddenly malfunctioning, countless TMDB ID errors

I just logged into Overseerr to find all of the metadata had disappeared and in it's place there was just blank rectangles showing the TMDB Id's. I then looked at the error logs and it's throwing API errors out the wazoo. Is this just me? Are other folks seeing this? Curious if something went wrong on my end or it's just a general TMDB API error.

@hybrid gorge any thoughts on what could be happening here?

I'm not seeing any issues there

Hmm - assuming you’ve tried a restart? Is your Plex grabbing the files correctly at its end?

Is it correctly matching the first one in your screenshot to Reel Rock 11?

Yeah everything plex side is still working, it seems to mainly be an issue with Overseerr functioning properly in the UI

I tried a fresh install and now I'm getting this error

2024-11-08T05:16:43.969Z [error][Plex.tv API]: Something went wrong while getting the account from plex.tv: getaddrinfo EAI_AGAIN plex.tv 2024-11-08T05:16:43.970Z [error][API]: Something went wrong authenticating with Plex account {"errorMessage":"Invalid auth token","ip":"::ffff:172.19.0.8"}

i'm just stuck at the setup page, whenever I login to plex it just stays on the setup page and doesn't move on to step 2.

any thoughts @frosty marsh ?

I'm getting something similar, a couple of movies/shows are showing not found just recently. It looks like plex.tv blocks ping requests, but I was able to wget the webpage and download the index.html.

I found it when I searched it, same ID it listed

Interestingly, my radarr instance is on the same server as my overseerr and it can find the movie in TMDB that overseerr can’t

#

A reboot of my docker container fixed the ‘movie not found’ issue for me, now shows fine

I was thinking API changes too, I did restart overseerr but not the whole machine. If a restart fixes it, maybe a cache issue

Edit: Yep, restarting the machine fixed it
