Greetings fellow Overseerr users. I used to use Ombi before I got to know Overseerr. There was a feature in Ombi where u could change the original naming of the app. I think I don't understand what the ''Application Title'' does in the General settings. Was hoping this would be doing that. Hopefully somebody could aid me with this case. Thanks in advance
#Changing Application titel/logo

The application title only modifies the tab's name. If you wish to alter the logo, you must locate the PNG file and replace the image there.
thanks for the reply. Does that also counts towards the login logo?
Yeah, it includes the login logo, homepage logo, and favicon. These logos are all separate files. I've got it to work, but can't get the favicon to show up.
ah u did this as well? Nice
I am running Overseerr in a docker container. Is this also possible?
Yeah, I managed to do it on Windows Docker. It took me a while to find the files, but it was definitely doable.
what size should it be?
I did it a while back, but looking at the file I used it should be 500 x 500 PNG
Sorry svg
It also seems to be able to install it from the mobile chrome browser. is there a possibility to change that name also into a custom one
Because it says Overseerr
Where does it show "Overseerr" in mobile?
If u use the Mobile Chrome browser. u press the 3 dots in de upper right corner. And then. Installing App
I'm not totally sure how to change that. I'll look into it and let you know.
Another note
I changed the default language. I am using the Web Push notification. Only if the media is approved the notification is still in the default language
I am not familiar with the notifications feature. Perhaps someone who uses it can assist you 😬
Upon reviewing the support documentation, it appears that the language support for email notifications is still under development. I am not certain if this also applies to web push notifications, as I am not familiar with that feature.
Ah well its working solid. So no big deal. Thought I mentioned it ^^
looks like it
Aah cool, keep you posted on the mobile install name 😊
Awesome thanks ^_^
Can you show me a screenshot of where you see it?
I can then find the image on Github and send you a link so you can replace it with one of the same size and filename
Could u tell me where the PNG file is located?
Are you on Windows Docker Desktop?
No, Synology/Linux
I believe it would be in the same location.
The 2 files you want to update are:
/app/overseerr/public/logo_full.svg
/app/overseerr/public/logo_stacked.svg
In this path you'll also find the favicon ect.
@atomic tusk There is no Public folder. Only (db) and, (logs)
Not a linux user so I have no idea where the file could be located. You can also try NGINX but this is only temporary. What repository/image are you using?
Docker
image: sctx/overseerr:latest
??
hotio/overseerr:latest
Yeahh that's not the official image, thats why you can't find the path
U don't know any other way to reach it?
The only way I know is through the official image. You can make an new container with the official image or use NGINX, but NGINX is only temporary fix as mentioned.
@atomic tusk This is what I found https://github.com/sct/overseerr/issues/404#issuecomment-1659795118
Jip that should work perfectly fine if you're using the official image.
@atomic tusk Thanks for the reply. Really appreciated. I was wondering. I am quite new to Overseerr. Not sure how much experience u got with it. But is it possible to set the request limit for tv shows to episode. Rather then seasons
I'm also bit new, but this functionality is not yet supported
