Kind of "movie lifetime"

  • someone add request
  • admin approves it
  • radarr/sonarr loads it
  • then this someone watch the movie
  • admin see status watched and can remove the movie (in case of integration with tautulli)

Right?

For me still not clear the couple moments:

  • when should I remove request?
  • what if I've integrated Plex Watchlists, and users mostly adding requests not into overseer directly but by adding items to watch list. In this case movie will be readded even if I removed the imported request?

Can I somewhere keep kind of bookmarks, but not load movie? I mean - I want to see movie in watchlist for example, like favorites, but not need the movie file on server for now. Which the best way to implement it?

Something like:

  • Add to plex watchlist like bookmark
  • Import request once
  • Approve it, load, watch
  • Then remove movie and request but keep it in watchlist (maybe to not forget about it, maybe to share with someone etc).

How can I do it? Trying to find out the simplest and useful way for it.

Whenever you want that someone shall be able to request it again. As far as i know, for an actual working request it'd be necessary to also remove it in radarr/sonarr.

yes. Because the request will be exectued again.

    not that i knew
