#Auto watch list request don't work for other users

Hi, I'm running 1.33.2 on Ultra.cc and have Auto-Request and Auto-Approve allowed for both myself with my owner account as well as for my other Plex users.
The requests for myself work via my Plex watch list, but not for my users. I have added the RSS feed from Plex for my friends to Sonarr/Radarr and they get added every 6/12 hrs.
I had tried for one user/friend to login to their Overseer account with their Plex login if that changes anything, it didn't.
Is this just not supported or am I doing anything wrong? I would prefer to only use Overseer to get requests out faster and see who requested what via notifications and inside the *arrs.

Ah, I looked at it but understood it as you as owner have issues for your own watch list. Which works fine for me. Following your post, thanks!

I had this issue until literally yesterday when I had some time to investigate and I found a workaround.

I had done a bulk edit of all users and checked the Request, Auto-Approve, and Auto-Request checkboxes. I then noticed that when looking at an individual user, there are multiple tabs. On the General tab there are two checkboxes at the bottom that are related to the watch list. So I manually went in to each user to check mark those two checkboxes.

It still wasn't working, so I got my parents' Plex username and password and logged in to my instance of Overseer with their account. I clicked the User icon in the top right, then Settings. On the General tab those two checkboxes I mentioned were there. They were checked (since I had done it manually from my admin account). I un-checked those two boxes and then clicked the Save button. Then I checked those two boxes again and clicked the Save button.

Low and behold, their (my parents) Plex watchlist immediately got submitted as requests!

On the one hand it would be preferred that I could effectively turn this feature on as the owner/admin. However, I can also see it as a potential privacy issue where someone might use the Plex watchlist as a personal list of things to watch and would not want their personal list to automatically be submitted as a request.

Perhaps in a future version of Overseer there could be a disclaimer on the settings to let the owner/admin know that this feature will require the users to opt-in. At least it’s working now. I’ve sent a message to my users letting them know the steps to take if they want to enable it.

# brittle iron I think this is a different issue... It's known that you have to log into overse...

I was referring to the OP issue, which is why I replied in this thread. The OP already replied to you saying that your issue is different from theirs.

You say "It's known that you have to log in to Overseer once with the user credentials..." and yet I nor the OP was aware of that. I searched the documentation for information about this and did not see any note about the end user having to log in.

At least my issue, which is the same issue as @fickle relic, has been resolved. Good luck figuring out the solution to your issue.
