#Plex watchlist not being added

I saw in another support post where @vernal roost said they have to log into Overseerr once to get it to sync.
I'd love to confirm if that's true as I've had problems getting this to work. I was able to get one user to do it but they were on my network so that might have allowed it.
None of my users currently use Overseerr themselves. I've had them using Discord and now would like them to just use the Watchlist.
Confirmed. This is the way. I had the same issue and just did this after finding this post.
thanks, I’ll give it a shot
I'm having the same problem. If I just give my user a password (they've been added via "Plex Friends"), then sign in with their email and password I provided, the next time Plex Watchlist syncs, it should pick up their watchlist?
That's not the I've done it, but it might work.
Is your user local to your network or is Overseerr accessible outside your network?
Right now, it's only local.
If your user can access Overseerr using the local address, then this is the way I did it. I had her log in using the browser and sign in to overseerr using her plex account and the watchlist started syncing immediately
Ah. So I'd need the Plex account sign in (my little work around isn't enough). That makes sense.
Makes me think that Overseerr is holding onto the Plex oauth token then. Is there a chance that's going to expire again? Am I going to end up in a situation where I'll need my users to stop by my house once a month to sign in with their Plex account so the watchlists continue to work? (I'm not really expecting an answer, just tossing out a hypothetical)
