him logged in (but viewing from my browser)

#

On another test, I disabled cloudflare proxy, we both signed out. I signed in, he loaded the page and it just immediately loaded as me. Didn't even ask him to sign in

#

it finally kicked him out, he signed back in, and my page reloaded as him again. So it's not the cloudflare proxy

is this on same computer? Maybe a cach issue with the token not being invalidated quickly enough.

dire widget
#

no, in fact it's not even on the same continent haha

steep grotto
#

is it local accounts or plex accounts?

#

i'm confused on "I signed in, he loaded the page and it just immediately loaded as me."
So your signed in with your account, then if he signs in from his computer it does not ask to login, it just brought up your account?
Have they ever logged into your account?

sorry, work has been hectic to say the least. Had my only local employee take 8 weeks leave

What I mean is, I'm on my computer (A) logged in as my account (1), and a friend elsewhere logs in on his computer (B) with his account (2)

A now shows the profile picture / access levels of B. - becomes A2.

I believe this is solved. It was an issue with the storage volume.

#

nevermind, still happening.

#

Screenshot from my PC. That's not me, that's my friend in another state

Sounds like you are having some caching issues with whatever proxy you are using. Overseerr wouldn't do this on its own

#

I've completely reinstalled docker, and the image using the instructions on the site. Still happening, can't figure out how to resolve it. Not using a proxy..... Unless you think cloudflare is doing something funky. Let me have my friend try it direct (IP address). I've been using cloudflare for years with everything else though and never had this issue.

#

I have ombi setup the same way though (except not in docker) and it works fine (well, session wise. Outside of that ombi is just not as good lol, overseerr is definitely better)

jaunty mica
#

Cloudflare is a proxy

#

Some cloudflare caching options can cause this.

#

I can tell you with absolute certainty that nothing in overseerr code is causing this.

worn nymph
#

Cloudflare is your problem

#

Turnoff proxy mode on cloudflare and IT will resolve the issue

jaunty mica
#

i run overseerr through cloudflares proxy

worn nymph
#

sorry

#

i meant caching mode

jaunty mica
#

its probalby something like rocket loader or whatever in the optimization settings

worn nymph
#

that will screw up your session control

jaunty mica
#

yeah for sure

worn nymph
#

did you turned of that aswell sct?

jaunty mica
#

i dont use rocket loader no

#

basically just proxy mode with the default settings

worn nymph
#

or did you blacklist some of the urls to not cache?

jaunty mica
#

i didnt bother with anything special. just enabled proxy defaults

worn nymph
#

love to cache the images we cache with overseerr

jaunty mica
#

yeah for sure

#

cloudflare will cache images if you use our image proxy

#

or it shoud at least 😄

Still not working - I've disabled caching using a page rule
