#Media Availability Sync not working

I really love Overseerr thanks for this app!

I just read the changelogs and I'm really happy for this change as I don't have alot of HDD space and sometimes i delete a movie that my dad still wants to watch.

It doesnt seem to work tho. I also ran the sync manually but it still shows me "Fast and Furious" as available in Overseerr while it doesn't exist in Radarr anymore. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: i noticed it still does this with alot of movies. If i then press on the Availble I get linked to Plex with "Something went wrong
An unexpected error occurred"

I am having the same problem. Media Availability Sync finds in Plex over 300 deleted shows or movies, but never performs the cleanup.

I'm getting the same. I found that running the sync manually cleaned up a few of the movies that I had previously deleted, but I just looked at another movie this morning and it says "Available" even though it doesn't exist on Plex (or Radarr).

I think mine does nothing at all sadly, but if I check the logs it says:

92 exists in at least one Radarr or Plex instance. Media will be updated if set to available. But nothing changes. Rebooted my whole server just in case but no bueno

That issue was closed for a reason so I wouldn't refer to it

#

From the log you just provided, the scan is finding the movie/show in one of your media instances so it isn't going to fully remove it from Overseerr

I understand that, but the problem is that the movies arent in my Radarr anymore, I have only one instance

#

no folders left, nothing in plex, nothing in Radarr

#

I just noticed it skips some numbers

If I open a movie in Overseerr that should be deleted by the Sync and if I go to Manage Movie -> Open in Radarr on one of those movies I get this:

#

Sonarr basicly same story, availability also doesnt change but the shows are 100% gone from my hard drive with all leftover folders deleted

Can confirm what the guy in the GitHub post said that got closed works.

I just did the first request on the new version. Overseerr showed it was available. I deleted it from Radarr and did a manual sync. Movie is also deleted from Overseerr.

Seems like it only works if you request on the new version but not movies / shows you requested on an old version.

2023-06-17T21:51:06.610Z [debug][AvailabilitySync]: Failure retrieving media ID 93 from your non-4K Radarr.{"errorMessage":"[Radarr] Failed to retrieve movie: Request failed with status code 404"}

Media ID 93 does not exist in your non-4k Radarr and Plex instance. Status will be changed to unknown. Now I get this in the logs but only for that one movie I requested on the new version. Other movies / shows requested on the old version still keeps being available according to Overseerr.

Already really glad it's working on new requests tho! 😄

Just tested with media added on older versions and had no issues. When the media was added to Overseerr should have no effect on the availability sync

well be damned, I just checked again and now all the availibities got changed... well no clue what happened but I guess it works now

#

According to the logs it did a Radarr scan that it does every day at 4AM and that fixed it

Glad it's working now!

Thanks, maybe for you guys @dusk knoll @sharp forum try to do a Radarr scan and then a availibility scan. Although at this point it must've already done the Radarr scan by schedule. It got fixed for u guys?
