I have set Movies to be automatically approved however i keep having movie request waiting tk be approved. Running Overseerr on docker on unraid.

did you check the user permissions?

if you set the global permissions, it is not automatically applied to every user. you need to use the bulk option for that

I see, so when does the global permission actually matter?

by the initial login of a user

than overseerr will apply the permission for that new user as the global permission are set

if the user already exist, you need to manually edit the permissions for the existing users. this can be done with the bulk option 🙂
