Edit request?

Is it possible to edit a request? For example, if someone requests 4k, to downgrade their request to normal, but still have htem be notified when it becomes available?

Only before the request is accepted
To edit, a user needs to have the "Manage Requests" permission

But I think that you're instead asking to change the request from a regular non-4K request to a 4K request, that one is not possible, even before the request is accepted

Overseerr treats those as separate kind of requests entirely

the opposite, I want to downgrade someones 4k request to a normal request

I suppose I could just change the profile, but it would still send it to the wrong sonarr/radarr instance and folder 😦

Only way would be to make another request for the same movie/show

Can an admin make a request on behalf of another account, so they original requestor gets notified?

Yep. And not just admins, any used with the "Manage Requests" permissions
