How to properly delete media | Seerr | Page 1

Now that my NAS storage is at 88% usage, I need to delete media (movies and tv shows) from it. Since Overseerr does not really sync deleted media, what is the best way to delete media? In the arrs, in Plex, or directly in file manager and then just manually sync everything (including Overseerr)?

I would delete via ARRs so they don't think you still have the media or try to re-download the deleted content. plex automatically removes unavailable content after a short time

How would they not think that I still have the media if overseerr doesn't sync deleted data?

you'd need to either manually clear the titles from overseerr or delete the overseerr database entirely and then recreate it. This would purge any lingering availability data, but you'd also lose request/issue history.
