Right now I use the Connect feature on Sonarr and Radarr to post a message when a show it imported. I used to use the Requestarr app, and it had a feature that when an file was imported, it would tag the user that requested it to let them know, rather than the user having to sort through all the imports. Also, it would be nice if Overseerr would handle posting to different channels in Discord based on what was imported. I have separate channels tracking Movies, TV, Music, etc...
#Tag requesting user on import

This might have been closed because it was a duplicate? I think there is an existing feature request for this somewhere.
If users add their Discord IDs and enable those notification types, they will be tagged in the Discord notifications.
I think they mean sonarr/radarr tags?
Tags as in an @ username.
And in my profile, where I add the discord ID, I only have the options of approved or failed. I'd like to have imported as well. (and also manually approved or rejected)
you need to enable the notification types in the settings first
also, we wont be able to notify you of imports, but we can when it becomes available.
pretty much the same thing 🙂
OK, I see that now.
but then on to my second thing, having different notifications go into different channels. I don't want my movie and tv notifications going into the same channel. I like having two separate ones. (I used a single channel for a long time, it just got so cluttered I wanted to split them up). I can send different notices for import from Radarr/Sonarr to different channels, but those apps won't @tag a user.
You can do your own processing using a webhook server in that case.
